Our History

The Mission Heights Approach

Mission Heights is more than just a High School; it’s an incubator for young adulthood, where high school education transcends traditional boundaries. This program is designed for students eager for knowledge, growth, and ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.

Mission Heights prepares students for life with a curriculum that includes critical thinking, digital citizenship, and community engagement.

Mission Heights is not merely a school; it's a launchpad into adulthood, characterized by its six pillars of self-development.

The 6 Pillars of our

Character Development Curriculum

Inspired by my work for the Front Row Dads and Jon Vroman I have adapted their 6 Pillars to fit the developmental stage of teens.

Thriving Relationships

Cultivating strong friendships, understanding healthy relationship dynamics, and mastering effective communication skills.

Emotional Intelligence

Providing tools for emotional expression and management, empathy, stress management, and fostering a growth mindset.

Vibrant Health

Encouraging physical well-being through nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and mental health awareness.

Personal Evolution

Emphasizing self-growth, passion exploration, goal setting, and skill acquisition for personal fulfillment.

Intentional Living

Teaching mindful decision-making, time management, and understanding the impact of actions on oneself and the community.

Wealth & Legacy

Building financial literacy, imparting the importance of community contribution, and guiding students in creating their personal legacies.
